How to care for premature greying hair?
Honestly, premature greying can be caused by stress, iron and Vitamin B12 deficiency, and/or family genes. There is honestly not one answer here, but we do suggest taking your vitamins and maintaining healthy hair. Kyra's Shea Medleys products are natural and vegan and we've put together this simple hair care routine to help care for your scalp and curls. Here's how:
STEP 1:
SCRUB
(scalp about 1x per week or every other shampoo)
STEP 2:
CLEANSE
(1x per week or as needed; over-cleansing = dryness)
STEP 3:
CONDITION
(for 5 minutes then rinse; leave-in if hair tends to be very dry)
STEP 4:
REFRESH
(scalp and hair with floral water up to 2x daily; 3x if very dry)
STEP 5:
MOISTURIZE
(and seal floral water with butter or oil 1x daily; 2x if very dry)
DONE!
Repeat 5-step routine as necessary & listen to your hair's needs.
