How to care for an occasional pimple or two?
Also known as zits or spots, pimples develop when sebaceous (oil) glands become clogged and infected. It leads to swollen, red bumps filled with pus and can happen around any age (especially around puberty). Keeping your skin clean of excess dirt, sweat, and oil, hydrating and lightly moisturizing your skin with non-greasy products, and reducing stress factors are keys to healthy skin care. If you are only getting a couple pimples a month, you are honestly doing really well!
