Shipping Policy

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to ship due to the increased volume of orders. You have the option to ship your order via USPS Mail or UPS from Atlanta, Georgia. Due to the handmade nature of our products, we cannot ship Priority Mail Express.

 

U.S.A. Domestic Shipping:

How much does Kyra’s Shea Medleys charge for shipping?

All orders now have the option of being shipped from USPS Mail (please see here) or UPS! Currently, the usual USPS rates by weight are as follows:

  • USPS First Class/Standard Shipping - $6.99
  • USPS Priority Shipping - $9.99

All UPS rates are carrier calculated based on the weight of your order.

We currently have an ongoing special where all USA orders of $60 or more automatically receive FREE STANDARD USPS SHIPPING and all orders of $75 or more automatically receive FREE PRIORITY USPS SHIPPING (No coupon code necessary). Please note that to receive the automatic free shipping, the subtotal (after discounts and before taxes) must equal $60/$75 or more. You can also redeem 2000 reward points for FREE SHIPPING. Just click the "Earn Rewards" tab on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Note: Kyra's Shea Medleys has no control over USPS nor UPS shipping rates as they are subject to the weight of the package. The prices above reflect an estimation of the total weight of a package as well as packaging and handling. The shipping cost on most orders tend to be greater than stated, but we are willing to cover those extra costs for our customers.

Does Kyra’s Shea Medleys offer international shipping?

YES! We have implemented international shipping! Please see the "INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING" section below for shipping methods, costs, customs, and other important details.

Why do you no longer ship the Butters in the Summer time and when you do, it's only via USPS Standard Mail?

We understand your frustration, but 1) the Butters melt during shipment when it's hot and 2) Kyra’s Shea Medleys cannot accept returns or apply refunds if products are left outside to melt. It is our decision to sell or not sell the Butters during the hotter seasons (Summer and Spring), but if we do please note that:

  • Packages with Butters should be swiftly taken inside upon delivery, so please make sure to keep an eye on your tracking sent via the shipping tracking email. However, you should not be discouraged. They can easily be transformed back to a more solid form by refrigeration or just storing them in a cool, dark place. Please see our Heat Caution and Summer Care page for more information.
  • Due to the fragility of the Butters during the hotter seasons, Priority Shipping is required on all packages containing Butter Creams and Baby Butters. If it gets too hot, we may include ice packs to help maintain their quality or just not sell the Butters at all. There may also be an additional premium fee (ranging from $1.00 to $3.00 per butter) included in the retail price to cover the costs of the extra shipping and packing supplies. My order is stuck in transit, says "delivered", but is lost, or damaged? What should I do? Can you ship my order again?

We are very sorry that this has happened and here are the action steps we suggest:

IF STUCK IN TRANSIT: We will happily call USPS (both your local post office and the national line at (800) 275-8777) to help locate your package. We suggest you call as well for double the complaint. The USPS agent should provide you with a case number. Be prepared to wait or get a call back.

We will also call UPS and suggest you do the same. Their national line is (800) 742-5877. Be sure to call your local UPS store as well.

IF LOST: Unfortunately, once a package is shown as "DELIVERED" it is no longer our responsibility and out of our hands. A package with a tracking status of "DELIVERED" is our indicator that the package did arrive at your place of residence/business/etc.

We do understand that things can happen to a package after it is delivered, which is why we recommend that you contact your local post office to file a claim or complete a missing/lost mail form. We will also help by calling your local post office as well as the national USPS line at (800) 275-8777 for double the complaint. The USPS agent should provide you a case number that you can also reference in your claim form.

IF DAMAGED/MISSING ITEMS: Please file a claim immediately for any package that has been damaged and is missing items due to the damaged package. Sometime USPS will include a letter with your package stating they are aware that is has been damaged. Please take pictures of the letter, your package and the contents, obtain a screenshot of your order to include in your claim form submission. We will also help by calling your local post office as well as the national USPS line at (800) 275-8777 for double the complaint. The USPS agent should provide you a case number that you can also reference in your claim form.

International Shipping:

International Shipping Details and Policies

We offer a flat-rate shipping charge of $30.00 (Orders under $300 only) although we pay an average of $42.00 due to the size and weight of the box you’ll receive from us if you order our products. You can share the shipping charge with family and friends by purchasing multiple times on one order and splitting the cost. We currently ship via "USPS Priority Mail International" for tracking purposes.

International Wholesale Orders will be charged the full shipping cost based on the size (weight, shipping box dimensions) of their order package(s). Wholesalers may choose between USPS Mail International rates (please see here) and UPS Worldwide rates (please see here) shipping options.

PayPal is our official, secure payment method for our website. Please check here to see if they accept payments from your country. If you do not see your country on the list, please email us at info@kyrasheamedleys.com.

All International Buyers please note:

  • Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
  • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight or shipping company or when you pick the item up. Do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

We will not state "gift" on the package unless it actually is a gift from us to you. We will fill out customs forms accurately and truthfully, so please DO NOT ask us to falsify information of any kind. We claim full retail value on our customs forms for insurance purposes.
